Michael Neale is a Dove Award–winning songwriter, national best-selling author, and veteran worship leader whose creative voice continues to shape a generation of worshipers in the local church. With a passion for helping people encounter God through songs and stories, Michael’s influence spans music, literature, and ministry.

His songs have been recorded by artists such as Michael W. Smith, Natalie Grant, Rebecca St. James, Kutless, Paul Baloche, Anthony Evans, Phillips, Craig & Dean, and Shane & Shane, among others.

Michael is the author of the best-selling novel The River and its sequel Into the Canyon, as well as Your Great Name, a devotional inspired by his beloved worship anthem, and The Way of Worship, co-authored with Vernon M. Whaley.

He serves as Pastor of Multisite Experiences and Creative at Champion Forest Church in Houston, Texas, co-founder of The Worship Table, and principal consultant for Song & Story Creative, LLC. Michael continues to write, produce, lead, and speak at churches and conferences across the country, inviting others to live a life of worship that flows from a heart transformed by the presence of God.
